* Weekend Reflections: Balancing Presence and Personal Time *

Day three marked my first weekend in the Thirty-One Full-On Love Challenge. Surprisingly, navigating the weekend brought its own set of challenges and joys. Without the structured routine of workdays, staying present proved both more difficult and, paradoxically, easier. The absence of a tight schedule allowed for extended moments of meditation and self-care.

Sending Love to Unexpected Places: A Morning Revelation

In the morning, as I embarked on my love-sending ritual, unexpected faces filled my consciousness—individuals who had wronged me or hurt me, and even the enigmatic Donald Trump (what the eff?). A moment of contemplation led to a beautiful revelation: the necessity of sending love even to those who harbour negative energy. This sparked a debate: Do we send love to haters? To those who commit evil acts? For me, the answer is a resounding yes. Love will only create more love and with this we can end hate and fear.

Luxury Love Moments: A Reflection on Prioritization

A noteworthy observation from the initial three days is the tendency for ‘Luxury, Luscious Love Moments’ to find a place at the end of the day’s agenda. While not always the case, these moments seem lower on my imagined priority list. This realization sparked introspection—should these moments be confined to the end of the day? Can they not be integrated throughout the day? A deeper inquiry arises: Is this indicative of a pattern where I prioritize acts of love towards others before myself?

My immediate response negates any inclination towards a self-love deficit. However, upon deeper contemplation, a realisation surfaces—perhaps my default is still to love others first.

Notable Observations from Day 3

  • A delightful experience in selecting and indulging in luxury, luscious moments.
  • Consideration for incorporating more self-love by adjusting the balance between acts of love towards self and others.
  • Reflection on the unique challenge of maintaining a love-focused vibration outside the structure of a work day.
  • Heightened consciousness and an increase in self-hugging—a simple yet impactful act.
  • The joy of exploring more personal moments, such as indulging in meditation twice a day.
  • Positive responses from sending love messages as part of the five love actions, a brilliant and heartwarming experience.

As we journey through the challenges and joys of Day 3, consider exploring the balance between self-love and acts of love towards others. And, dare I suggest, try sending love messages to those who come to mind—you might be surprised by the positive energy it brings into your life.
